Marathon Run

October 2020
Meet Victoria Simpson, a “Friend of Toowa” who in October 2020 raised £820 for the school by running 26.2 miles. She raised £620 from the marathon run and raised a further £200 from donations.

Virtual Kiltwalk 2021

April 2021
To raise funds for the school and the classroom rebuild project, a few members of “Friends of Toowa” team took part in Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk 2021. As this was a virtual event we decided to be the first to do the walk in 3 countries at the same time. Scotland, England and Uganda!. Kathleen sent some Kilts and “See you Jimmy” hats to Elijah and Mike.

Cycle Tour

June 2019
Meet Tony Smith, a remarkable “Friend of Toowa” who in June 2019 raised £2200 for the school so that they can have a new and much needed kitchen. The tour involved cycling, unsupported, from Canterbury to Rome, a distance of 1150 miles!
